Dr. Zeina Mechref is a Hypertension and Nephrology specialist graduated from Saint-Joseph University Beirut. After her residency in Hotel-Dieu de France hospital, she was trained in the department of Nephrology and Organ Transplantation in Bicêtre hospital in Paris to get her DFMS (Diplôme de Formation Médicale Spécialisée) from Paris Descartes University. She also holds a diploma in “Intensive care nephrology” from Sorbonne University and a diploma in “Kidney involvement in systemic diseases” from Paris Descartes University.
Since Hypertension is labelled as “silent killer” due to the lack of physical symptoms, Dr Zeina promotes awareness, prevention and early diagnosis for early adequate treatment. Her aim is to prevent irreversible complications of Hypertension.
She also treats acute and chronic kidney diseases and she is specialized in peritoneal dialysis and haemodialysis. She also has a special interest in kidney transplantation.
