Duck salad: tangy & refreshing meal in this warm weather!
Thank you for those of you who attended yesterday’s session😍!
It was heart warming to have people honestly sharing their experiences and emotions without feeling judged 😃
Last week, I took a pottery class for the first time. It had a soothing and comforting effect and I felt like sharing my experience. Pottery is an ancient therapeutic art that provides ultimate relief to the mind and body:
– It boosts confidence, self-esteem, self-expression, self-identification and spontaneity. There is no right or wrong way of doing it, you just do what you feel; no pressure.
– It helps you connect with yourself and the environment: while spinning clay, your mind and body are in natural synergy, wrapped around your creative ambitions.
– It improves your mood: creating something unique gives you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
– It reduces stress: This thoughtful, artistic activity opens up the mind and relieves you of external worries. Hence, cortisol (stress hormone) levels will decrease and reducing the risk of emotional and stress eating.
– It improves and shifts your focus: instead of worrying about things in your life rather change your focus to creating something. It will help the mind relax and expand, which will help you focus better in other areas of life as well.
– Even though pottery is not a strenuous activity it is strengthening to the hands, wrists and arms
So many pictures online presenting the perfect vacations get us lost on how to spend our days.
Free yourself from what others like to do and find what truly makes you spend a good moment.
Today is my last morning in Paris, how did I choose to live it? Some self care time: a gripping book, a delicious açaí bowl & a perfect cappuccino 😋
Taking time for yourself doesn’t necessarily mean being alone

Social norms and media instill in our minds and those of our children a certain way to perceive ourselves that can make us uncomfortable about our weight or shape.
We must try and free ourselves of these perceptions and love ourselves
Be our body’s friend and supporter, not its dictator. This means listening to what it is trying to tell us and what it needs; rest when we feel tired, eat when we are hungry.
Most importantly , we should be surrounded with people that remind us of our true beauty and strength ❣️
